At the beginning, the OSI Restaurant Partners was the honour and operator of Outback Steakhouse. Later on it was process by the Bloomin’ Brands, and with other outlets. In this way, they started growing internationally with the help of different agreements.
Outback Steakhouse restaurants in Canada, where established in 1996. The restaurant was present at nine different sites in the province of Ontario, Canada. All these branches were suddenly closed, all at once due to the poor financial conditions, in March 2009.
Then after some months in June 2009, a branch of Outback Steakhouse was opened at Niagara waterfalls, Ontario. Then another outlet was also opened a different location in Niagra waterfalls. Now just these two branches are only operating in Canada.more
Outback Steakhouse in UK, were present at the locations of Birmingham, Basildon, Enfield, Romford, Stevenage and Staines. In September 2011, all branches except the Baliston and Romford branch were closed. In the same month of September on 13th, these two branches were also closed and Outback -Steakhouse was terminated from the UK.
On 14th June 2007, the company beacame a private property, after a stock repurchase plan between the OSI Restaurant Partners. The present owner of Outback Steakhouse is the Bloomin’Brands signed a pact with SEC and started earning up to $300 million by offering their services to the public.
